Owens smiles at goal
Mitch Owens miss-kicked his shot for goal following a mark but the ball still floated into goal.
Owens had a sheepish smile as he celebrated.
Higgins soon had his second moments later after the Saints won the footy from the centre bounce.
Higgins is on today, the Dons need to lock him down.

St Kilda fired early but Essendon showed some fight to get back into the contest late in the quarter.

Jake Stringer has led hard and won the footy before kicking his first goal of the day.
The Saints have won so much of the territory and the football but they haven’t put away their chances, that’s why Essendon is still in the match.

Caminiti, Duursma trade goals
Caminiti has been ever present this term and he has come up with a goal.
But soon after the centre bounce, the Bombers surged forward and Xavier Duursma has snapped his first goal for the club and let fly with his trademark arrow celebration.
He did it with a big smile too.

Butler keeps his cool
Dan Butler weaved and dodged defenders before his grubber kick almost hit Caminiti on its way to goal.
Luckily, Caminiti skipped out of the way and the ball rolled into goal.

Jones puts Essendon on the board
Harry Jones has flown in and taken a mark before kicking the first goal for the Dons today.
Essendon really needed that boost.

Saints are dominating
Jack Sinclair has marked and kicked a goal from about 35 metres out. Higgins fed him the ball.
But the real difference is the attack on the footy from the Saints who continue to win the footy and break clear from the Dons.
