WrestleMania 40 is the most-streamed entertainment event ever on Peacock, Variety has learned exclusively.

Per the NBCUniversal streamer, the two night event at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia was viewed for 1.3 billion minutes over the weekend of April 6 & 7. It was also the second biggest usage weekend for Peacock of all time, ranking only behind the NFL Wild Card game and following day on Jan. 13 & 14. In addition, the Peacock special “Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal” is the most-viewed original sports WWE documentary through its first seven days on the platform. The doc examined the life and career of Wyatt, who died suddenly in 2023 at just 36 years old.

This is the latest record broken for WrestleMania 40. It was previously reported that the event was the most successful live event in WWE history. Per WWE, the gate for the event was up 78% compared to the previous record set during WrestleMania 39, with 145,298 in attendance across both nights this year. Merchandise sales were up more than 20% over last year.

On Night 1, the two squared off with the aid of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Seth Rollins, respectively, in a tag team match that marked Johnson’s first match for WWE since 2016.
