From attending events together to travelling together, photos of Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur took the internet by storm in the past few months. With the actress also touching upon the subject during her stint on Koffee With Karan 8, the rumours about the couple have only fueled up even further. Popular actor Chunky Panday, who is also Ananya’s father, reacted to these reports and maintained that he is a supportive father who believes that she is old enough to make her own decision.

While many actors have tried to hide their relationship, Ananya and Aditya have never shied away from being spotted by the media. In fact, on many occasions including their Europe trip and even when the duo attended the pre-wedding ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, the couple’s photos have gone viral on social media. However, Chunky Panday has reacted to the ongoing rumours and revealed that Ananya is in her 20s and is open to doing whatever she wants. “I mean it’s fine. I think she is 25, she is earning more money than I did. She is free to do what she wants. How dare I tell my 25 year old daughter what to do?” he told in an interview with Lehren Retro.
Meanwhile, speaking of her professional life, Ananya Panday, who made her debut with Student Of The Year 2, starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, currently has an interesting lineup of projects to look forward to. She has a cyber-crime thriller with Vikramaditya Motwane and the Akshay Kumar starrer biopic on Indian lawyer and statesman C. Sankaran Nair. Apart from these, the actress is also looking at making her web-series debut with Call Me Bae on Prime Video.
