Apple announced two new iPad models, the iPad Air (M2) and iPad Pro (M4), during a virtual keynote event, both of which will release on Wednesday, May 15. The brand new mobile devices — which both feature updated hardware, software and sleek designs — are already available to pre-order, through, so you can receive them the day they come out.

The new iPad Air with M2 chip is available to pre-order starting at $599 at Target, Amazon and Apple.com. In addition, the upgraded iPad Pro with new M4 chip is available to pre-order starting at $999 at Target, Amazon and Apple.com.

The sixth-generation iPad Air got the bigger upgrade, delivering faster performance than the previous generation. It’s the first iPad Air to include Apple’s M2 processor, the same one used in the Mac Mini and Apple Vision Pro models. With a USB-C port for faster connectivity and cellular models with mobile 5G connection, it’s the most powerful iPad Air yet. The update doesn’t just feature more robust software, though. The new edition also comes with 11-inch and 13-inch Liquid Retina displays, in four sleek finishes to choose from — including blue, purple, starlight and space gray.

The seventh-generation iPad Pro boasts a huge leap with the new M4 processor, which is 50% faster than the previous generation. The new model is particularly helpful for those using the tablet for video conferencing, featuring a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and Center Stage feature that allows users to stay still within the frame for important calls. Plus, it starts with 256GB of storage and goes all the way up to a whopping 2TB solid-state drive, while it also comes in 11-inch and 13-inch Ultra Retina XDR Display models.

It’s available for pre-order at Target, Amazon and Apple.com too.
